The Energetic Impulse
An Integrative Approach to Osteopathic Somatic Adjustments
January 29–31, 2027
Calgary, Alberta
Three-day postgraduate osteopathic course
Instructor: Claude Dufour, D.O.
Course Overview
This three-day postgraduate course draws upon more than 34 years of clinical experience and explores the principles and clinical applications of the Energetic Impulse, including toggle and recoil techniques.
Participants will explore the functional relationships between the somatic, visceral, neural, vascular, endocrine, and fluidic systems, with particular emphasis on their integration into osteopathic clinical reasoning.
The course combines structural, functional, and biodynamic osteopathic principles, emphasizing the selection of the appropriate technique, at the appropriate moment, with the appropriate intention.
